Why this exists

You're about to spend two to four weeks living and learning on a UK boarding-school campus — an extraordinary opportunity, and a meaningful responsibility. This is a short agreement, written for you (the student), about how we'll look after each other.

Your parent or guardian signs the Terms & Conditions. You sign this. Both matter.

What I agree to

While I'm on the programme, I will:

• Take part fully — in lessons, activities, mealtimes, and the social life of the cohort.
• Respect everyone — other students, staff, host families, host-school staff, and the buildings and grounds.
• Tell a chaperone if I am unwell, worried, homesick, or notice anything that doesn't feel right.
• Follow the daily schedule, observe curfew, and stay with the group.
• Look after my own things — passport, phone, money — and keep them where I'm told to.
• Take care of my health: eat the meals provided, get enough sleep, drink water, take medication as prescribed.
• Behave online the way I would in person — including in private chats, social media and group photos.

What I won’t do

While I'm on the programme, I will not:

• Use alcohol, tobacco, vapes, drugs or any substance not given to me by our staff.
• Leave the campus alone or with someone who is not part of the programme.
• Bully, harass, exclude, threaten, or speak hatefully to another person — in person or online.
• Take or share photos of others without their permission.
• Damage property, take what isn't mine, or break the rules of the host school.
• Hide a safety concern from staff because I'm worried about the consequences.

What I can expect from Aspirational Editech

From the team at Aspirational Editech, I can expect:

• Adults on duty 24/7 who I can go to with anything — small or serious.
• To be listened to, taken seriously, and treated with respect.
• Clear, honest answers to my questions.
• Safety as the first priority, always.
• A chance to learn things and try things I haven't tried before.

If I mess up

People do. We expect students to make mistakes and to learn from them. Most things will be handled calmly: a quiet word, a reset, and we move on.

If something is serious — the things in "what I won't do" — staff will speak to my parents and to me, and we'll work out what's right. In rare cases, that may mean going home early. That decision is taken carefully and never as a surprise.

My safe people

While I'm on the programme, the people I can go to with anything are:

• My named coordinator (introduced to me on day one)
• Any of our chaperones on duty
• The host school's safeguarding lead
• The 24/7 number we will give me before I travel

Signing this

I've read this agreement and I understand it. I'll do my best to live by it. I know Aspirational Editech is going to do their best to look after me.
