Three weeks. Three of our partner schools. You spend roughly a week at each — Clayesmore in Dorset, St Felix on the Suffolk coast, Shebbear in Devon — sampling their character, faculty, sport and quirks.
In between, you spend a full day in Oxford with a college fellow, a long weekend in London, and a final residential leadership week at Shebbear that pulls everything together into a capstone project and a public showcase.
Why this programme matters
Most summer programmes show you one school. We show you three — and then we connect them with the cities, universities, museums and accents that make up modern Britain. By the end of three weeks you can talk fluently about what makes a Devon school different from a Suffolk one, what a tutorial actually feels like in Oxford, and what living in London for a weekend taught you about being far from home. Few experiences shape a 15-year-old’s sense of the world more economically.
Programme structure
- Day01
Arrival & orientation
Met at Heathrow. Coach to Clayesmore. Welcome dinner, room set-up and a long Sunday walk to set the tone.
- Day02–06
Week one — Clayesmore
Lessons with Clayesmore faculty, Dorset sport rotation, weekend Jurassic Coast excursion. A working boarding-house week.
- Day07
Oxford day
Train to Oxford. College tour led by a current fellow, a short tutorial in a discipline of your choice, lunch in college, walk past the Bodleian and Radcliffe Camera.
- Day08–12
Week two — St Felix
Coach east to the Suffolk coast. Lessons at St Felix, marine fieldwork on the beach, sailing afternoon, weekend trip to Cambridge.
- Day13–14
London weekend
Two nights in central London. Walking tour, Tate, V&A, West End theatre night, river-walk farewell.
- Day15–19
Week three — Shebbear
Final week in Devon. Leadership seminars, capstone group project, outdoor education day on Dartmoor.

Showcase & celebration
Final-night showcase: capstone project posters, performances, certificates, parents joining by video link.
- Day21
Farewell & return
Goodbye breakfast, coach to Heathrow, return flights home with our chaperones.
