Our standard immersion program lasts 7 to 14 days, with optional extensions available depending on the time of year and student interest.
This program is designed for students aged 12 to 17 years. We aim to group students of similar age for shared experiences.
Yes, students live in the boarding houses of Shebbear College. They share dorms with local or international students and are supervised by trained house staff and visiting mentors.
Mornings are for regular classroom lessons, afternoons for sports or co-curriculars, and evenings for group activities, reflection, or boarding house bonding. Weekends involve visits to London, Oxford, Devon.
Students attend regular school classes tailored to their level. They’ll experience British teaching styles, group projects, and more.
Basic conversational English is helpful but not mandatory. We encourage learning through participation and immersion – fluency often improves by the end of the trip!
Yes, all meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks) and in-country transport during the program are included. Special dietary needs are accommodated.
